Sascha and Garth bought the Royal George on Appledore’s famous Irsha Street in 2017 after it had fallen into disrepair. They renovated it and turned it into a fabulous restaurant with accommodation. They also run the Sailor’s Rest, or Little George, on Appledore’s quay.
Anyone staying in or near Appledore is advised to try out the restaurant or enjoy a drink sitting outside.
