Global Wave featuring Azhaar Saffar – presented by the North Devon Jazz Club

Globe trotting violinist, singer and composer Azhaar Saffar brings her band Global Wave to North Devon Jazz Club in The Beaver, Appledore on 3rd April to play a rich variety of music which displays influences from all over the world.
Azhaar has been a violinist/singer/composer from an early age and has 9 albums to her name. Her latest album, in a jazz fusion style, embraces Latin, Brazilian , African and Arabic musical traditions, with Azhaar’s sonorous violin bringing it all together.
Azhaar has performed all over Europe, including Montreux, EFG London Jazz Festival, Brecon Jazz, Glastonbury and Larmer Tree. Find out more on Azhaar’s web site – www.azhaarsaffar.co.uk
