Appledore Ceilidh Band – Appledore Pride
The Appledore Ceilidh Band formed specially for the 2024 Appledore Music Festval. They were the highlight of the festival, with an unforgettable shindig at St Mary’s Hall. Since then they have gone from strength to strength.
They are back for a proper ceilidh at St Mary’s Hall in aid of Appledore Pride. Tickets are £10 in advance or £15 with an optional contribution to Pride. All welcome including LGBTQ+. Tickets can be purchased here.

The Appledore Ceilidh Band will lead you step-by-step through a fun and frenetic evening of family-friendly dancing and frivolity. The caller, Sophie Randles-Dunkley, is a popular local musician who has organised many a ceilidh. A talented Celtic band will be providing the jigs and reels. All are welcome.
No experience or innate dancing ability is required. The evening is guaranteed to be a hoot. For the ceilidh virgins amongst us, a ceilidh involves the caller explaining a sequence of dance moves to a group of people who then dance along to the live music. Wonderful stuff!
