Wildhatters – St Patricks Day

Appledore Social Club is pushing the boat out for St Patrick’s Day 2023 with the Wildhatters. Those good folk that run the social club are promising us a very late – and that means very late – celebration with the Wildhatters’ authentic Irish music. Come along and join in festivities, and while you are there raise a glass or two in memory of old Appledore history, when the ships built in the multiple yards minutes from the social club would ply their trade between the ports of North Devon and those of Ireland, trading fish, coal, timber and wool in a tradition stretching back at least 500 years.
