Mike Outram with Strange News – presented by North Devon Jazz Club

Mike Outram is a British guitarist and improviser. He has performed and recorded with artists such as Steven Wilson, Tim Garland, Donny McCaslin, Till Brönner, Gareth Lockrane, Carleen Anderson, Theo Travis, Martin Speake, Robert Fripp, Laurence Cottle, Julian Siegel, Tony Remy, Herbie Mann, Steve Buckley, Tim Ries, Nikki Iles, Hamish Stuart, Trish Clowes, Gerard Presencer, and Laura Rossi, appearing on over a hundred and fifty recordings across jazz, contemporary, and progressive music. He teaches at the Royal Academy of Music, Trinity Laban, and The Guildhall, London.

Mike was due to play with saxophonist Steve Buckley. Unfortunately Steve had to withdraw due to illness so Mike is leading the band.
