Next up at North Devon Jazz Club in The Beaver, Appledore on 19 January is the John Walter Quartet,led by pianist John Walter and featuring the distinctive melodic sound of violinist Tim Herniman. Completing the band will be Marcus Vergette on bass and Ronnie Jones on drums and the programme will be a mix of material, including numbers by Keith Jarrett, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Bill Evans and Thelonious Monk.
