Jim Blomfield and Michel Padrón Quintet

Michel Padrón, a trumpet player and trombonist, formed the Jim Blomfield and Michel Padrón Quintet with Jim Blomfield, an accomplished jazz and Latin pianist. The quintet play original Afro-Cuban-influenced songs plus covers. They play regularly around their Bristol base and they are venturing further afield, in the depths of winter, to thrill Appledore’s discerning jazz aficionados.

The band is completed by Jon Clark on drums, Jason Gaines on congas, and Roshan ‘Tosh’ Wijetunge on bass.

The gig is hosted by the North Devon Jazz Club. Thank you NDJC. There is no entrance fee, however a collection is taken for the band.
