Gaz Hughes Trio – presented by the North Devon Jazz Club

Original music from the Gaz Hughes trio, led by prize-winning drummer Gaz Hughes, featuring pianist Andrzej Baranek.
Gaz Hughes is a renowned jazz drummer and band leader, who won the Best Jazz Album of the Year at the Gilles Peterson Worldwide Awards in 2012. Gaz has performed with an impressive array of jazz artists, both in the UK and internationally, . Additionally, he has collaborated with a number of rock and pop artists such as Patti Boulaye and Suzi Quatro.
In May 2022, Gaz released an album with his trio “Beboperation” to critical acclaim. In February 2023, Gaz releases his third album as a band leader, entitled “Beboptical Illusion”. The Gaz Hughes Trio is touring in the UK and Europe during March and April, including this North Devon Jazz Club Beaver gig.
