Charlotte Glasson Band – presented by North Devon Jazz Club

ALL SMILES AT THE BEAVER
’If you’ve ever wondered what smiles sound like, this is it’. So wrote critic Jackie Hayden in the magazine Hot Press about the Charlotte Glasson Band which will perform at North Devon Jazz Club in The Beaver, Appledore on 15th June.

At the gig the band will perform a brand new jazz/world music project called Yellow Moon and will feature multi-instrumentalist Charlotte on saxes, flute, violin and more, Robin (William) Jones on guitar, Sam Dorrell on trombone and bass, and Sudhi Ponyi on tabla and percussion.

To quote Charlotte: ‘Drawing on influences from across the globe, Yellow Moon weaves melodies of silk and gossamer that spin and float on breezes as warm and smooth as a summer’s morning… this project looks to explore the depths of colour and feeling that music brings us.’
