Emmanuel Segun

Since settling in North Devon the fine saxophonist Emmanuel Segun has become well-known locally through his performances in all kinds of contexts and with a variety of musicians on the local scene. On February 14 – Valentine’s Day – he will appear at The Champ, Appledore where he will be playing music that effortlessly blends jazz, funk, pop, and music from all over Africa.

During a career marked by collaborations with a plethora of internationally acclaimed artists, Emmanuel has also made a significant impact on the global music scene. He has shared the stage with Grammy Award winner Kirk Whalum, Burna Boy, Gerald Albright, Najee, Joss Stone, Kurt Carr, Roy Hargrove, Fourplay, Courtney Pine, Hugh Masekela, and many others, showcasing his versatility and virtuosity.
