Influenced by such greats as Teddy Wilson\, James P. Johnson and particularly Art Tatum\, he was\, according to the singer/pianist Ray Charles\, the only pianist who ever came near to Tatum’s technical genius. \nCraig Milverton was awarded UK Jazz Pianist of the Year in 2010 and is a regular member of Digby Fairweather’s band as well as featuring with many other top musicians.
