SUMMARY:Applecorers Shanty and food drive
DESCRIPTION:Appledore’s own sea shanty ensemble\, the Applecorers\, perform at the Champ. The Applecorers sing traditional sea shanties. It is easy to imagine\, listening to this choir\, the days when Appledore’s streets were full of sailors and shipbuilders. Their rousing songs of the sea will lift your spirits and warm your heart. \nThis is an Appledore Music Festival pre-festival gig. \nThe evening is also a food drive. There will be a collection of food donations for the Northern Devon food bank. Thanks to Kaye for organising the collection.
