DESCRIPTION:TOP UK TRUMPETER AT BEAVER \nSteve Waterman\, one of the finest trumpeters and flugelhorn players on the UK and international scene\, will be appearing with the Ralph Freeman Trio at The Beaver\, Appledore on 23 June. \nPraised as ‘a delight to hear’ by Crescendo Magazine Steve  has played and recorded with such jazz greats  as Carla Bley\, Andy Sheppard and John Surman and also with the finest Cuban musicians. He is Professor of Jazz Trumpet at Trinity College of Music and an active educator at other institutions  and he is a distinguished composer for small and large ensembles. \nThe gig starts at 8:30pm and is hosted by the North Devon Jazz Club.
