Appledore’s own sea shanty ensemble, the Applecorers, are performing a special festival gig at the Champ on Tuesday 21 May, starting at 6:30pm.

The Applecorers sing traditional sea shanties. It is easy to imagine, listening to this choir, the days when Appledore’s streets were full of sailors and shipbuilders. Their rousing songs of the sea will lift your spirits and warm your heart.

This event has been booked by The Champ pub who have kindly agreed to include it in the Appledore Music Festival programme.
